Ju Canon (he/they), b.1990, is a Belgian trans masc non-binary painter and web developer, currently working as a coordinator/producer at les ateliers claus in Brussels (BE).
They are a Queer residency alumni, participating in the first edition of the Heima Queer Residency in 2022. Since then they have glued themself to the project and are working on developing the residences digital archive.
They also participated in the first edition of the Land Program at LungA School in spring 2024 where they got to know the fjord and the East of Iceland on a more intimate level.
Their practice grows in the intersections and overlaps of the human and the more-than-human world; exploring how queerying ecologies (cf. Jazmeen isa Qureshi) and theory, patterns in human sight, collaboration and collectivity
can appreciate again the forefront ways of being from the more-than-human world, and how collaboration rather than competition can reconnect to our place in nature.

Glazier was a monthly show where I played whatever I wanted to listen to. It also meant inviting friends to play what they want to listen to. It all began in January 2021. Each time — alsmot each time — I made a visual for the show.
